I don't think muh lens distortion or whatever makes that much of a difference in a selfie taken from arm's length.

I look virtually the same as I do in the mirror, not really MUCH of a difference.

The only issue is people overrate themselves in the mirror, viewing themselves from their best angles, and just coping hard overall.
