In most selfies with my android phone my cheeks look fatter and my face more bloated in general. I just took a video with my back camera from about 10 feet away and my cheekbones pop more and I look much leaner in general. It's probably the same for a lot of people because of lens distortion. This doesn't mean you shouldn't leanmax tho, it just means your face is probably not as fat and bloated as you think. Close selfies also exaggerate asymmetries much more too, so don't be disheartened and don't give up with looksmaxxing.
