With intranasal administration, only up to 1.69% of Semax and 1.04% of Selank actually reach the bloodstream.
And even less reaches the brain - only up to 0.13% of Semax and 0.16% of Selank.
Why does this happen?

- Then brain microsomes break down another ~91% of what remains.
