it’s impossible to separate a nigga and what they produce I mean js think abt it biologically your child is gonna share 50% of your dna
so obv a persons experiences and opinions are going to be reflected in the work they produce, it’s like their child communicated through language, in some form or another
If this weren’t the case then everything would be the same as there would be no opportunity for individualization or differentiation between the things produced
Things have to come from something and inevitably that which they come from are manifested in the thing itself
so then what is every work of art anecdotal? I think so but that doesn’t disprove the reality, for their existence validates the influence these AGENTS continue to have upon those surrounding them
A narrative doesn’t have to be true in order for its contents to have real consequences, think of any fabrication in history that led to genocide or conflict
ofc there are some things that may be universally more true than others, but every individuals experience is relative to the conditions in which it occurred and thus perceptions differ
you could be like well then if everything is true then nothing is and although that’s reasonable to say I think the presence of this variety enables there to be truths greater than others despite the equal validity of them all, at least in terms of their existence virtually
