I've been thinking about this a lot lately and honestly are relationships even worth it? They cost money and time and what do you really get back? Especially if you don't have a great income yet should you really be spending your time on a girl who's most likely gonna break up with you anyway? The stats are brutal only 1-3% of relationships in your teens/early 20s actually last forever. So you're basically investing in something that's almost guaranteed to fail. Also my friends who have girlfriends are always complaining about them. Like constantly. Which tells me that this may not be the way to go. Here is what gets me: say you spend 10 hours a week on a girl. That's 40 hours a month literally a full work week. Imagine if you used those 40 hours to build a side hsutle, grow a TikTok page, learn a valuable skill or smth else. That would pay off way more in the long run than some relationship that's gonna end in a year or two. Am I crazy for thinking this way? You're putting in all this effort and money for something temporary when you could be building actual wealth and skills that last.
What do you guys think? Someone tell me if I'm missing something here.
