Serious post. medial canthus cutting good idea? possibly lateral canthus too. diy canthoplasty

so i recently figured out i need a canthoplasty because its the only way to permanently fix a bad canthal tilt so i deadass plan to cut the canthus now are the results actually good and noticeable? do i need to cut only medial down or the lateral canthus cut upwards too? how to do it safely without getting an infection like what tool to use and sterilize it
