Sertraline causing hair loss?

Anyone experienced this? This morning when I had a shower massive clumps of hair were coming out, this has never happened before taking sertraline. Is it permanent, has anyone else experienced this before? Thanks.

It can’t be permanent loss, probably just shedding as a reaction to the medicine.

“Permanent” hairloss only occurs when immune cells destroy the hair follicle stem cells themselves like in an autoimmune condition or folliculitis.

Though I don’t know what the fuck sertraline is so I might be wrong

sertraline is an SSRI (anti depressant) its a jewpill to make me not wanna rope

It’s just a stress shed then, you’ll recover eventually. Make sure your diet and health in general are perfect as to not make it worse, same thing happened to me when I took accutane
