Even still, the super rich who aren’t world famous are still known for sexual degeneracy, think about the list of random quiet rich guys on Epstein’s island for example and on a more normal level how CEOs and politicians frequently abuse their female subordinates for sex (IDK if this still happens as much after MeToo but until like 20 years ago this was common operating procedure). I agree with you about the phenomenon you’re describing but I don’t think actual upper class people behave like this, what you’re describing is solidly middle class people that *want* to be upper class but aren’t.

Yeah but most of them are still married. That’s the point I’m trying to make.


So many people say “marrying and having kids” is a bad decision, yet, most CEOs, super rich old dudes are NOT single bachelors, or looking to get married in Thailand. They want to pass their success and what they’ve built down.

I agree that a lot are not faithful and have affairs, pay for escorts, and do even worse illegal things such as JE island type stuff.

I think we pretty much agree. And yeah you’re right. Powerful lawyers, bankers, fund managers used and abused their secretaries while in marriages, routinely. Definitely doesn’t happen as much anymore but was common even in the 2000s
