Lean body mass loss on Ozempic highlights everything wrong about “calories in calories out.” The reason Ozempic works is mostly decreasing calories in, but most the patients lose a ton of lean mass and just gain it all back in fat if they cease the drug. Calorie counting pretty much does the same when you're not exercising and eating protein.
