I was born in upper middle class in india but in rural or kind of town and i had privilege of not working since childhood . I went to residential boarding school and now I'm 20 and I haven't done any physically intensive jobs . But my friends from rural who worked in farms and physically intensive jobs since age of 10-12 are way more stronger than me but there height is average 5'7 . so every guy in my boarding school was taller I'm 6'1 without any effort . but there's no strength in my hands or legs as compared to my rural friends .

If youre in india there is a tremendous amount of genetic diversity, and the lower classes, who I assume your friends are a part of, are shorter because of their genes as well as their diet. Of course I dont know about your friends specifically but those could be factors that influenced their height

If you look at every weight class below heavyweight in powerlifting and olympic weightlifting, the champions are all short for their weight (very high BMI).

JFL AT THIS LOGIC. If you are taller you’re bones are much longer and thicker, thus meaning more muscle can be added to each limb/body part, even if it looks ‘weaker’. The only disadvantage is it will be harder for certain lifts and it will be harder to fill frame

there are some who have both height and strenght, but generally it is either or because if you work manual labor as a kid, your bones will grow thicker and stronger but shorter (wolfs law)

We are actually from same caste . My whole friend circle of town is of same caste but my hostel friends where from various caste.

How does one even define strength? A guy with half the range of motion exerts the same FORCE to a bar compared to a guy that has twice the r.o.m, but the distance traveled is less. E.g. Less WORK, but same force given that the weight of the bar is equal.

Because most tall indians are tall due to hromones in food . I see them having 14 inches comical bidelts at 6 ft . Its ridiculous seeing them . Sonething is their in food for sure.
