Shorter-acting pregab alternative?

Last night I took 900mg pregab to be nt at prom, but this morning I was still quite inebriated and stumbling around. Luckily I didn’t have to do anything besides go to the grocery store, but I would like to avoid this in the future.

I am considering using Baclofen or 1-4- BDO as an alternative. Does anyone have experience with these? if so can you tell me if they feel much different than pregab?

I didn’t take it all at once tho I took it gradually from like 6pm to 1am

Id go for Baclo. Pregab's half-life (~6h) is why you're still fucked the next morning at 900mg. Baclofen has a 2-4h half-life and clears cleaner. Mechanistically it's GABA-B direct agonist vs pregab's α2δ calcium channel shit so the feel is similar but "flatter" I would say and less euphoric. 40-60mg can make u pretty low inhib if you time it right.
