My front teeth moved approx 1mm down due to the natural advancement plane. my long upper lip (18mm philtrum with considerable vermillion show) with no gummy smile meant no competent surgeon would impact based on a future lip lift. I have perfect full teeth show when I smile, but it comes at a cost - my lower third is simply too long now. Amazing what a millimetre does to the face.

I should have told the surgeon to give me limited teeth show when I smile. Just 1-2 mm impaction would have made all the difference.

my maxilla needs to old lady max asap
