My skin is getting very flakey and dry. Would exfoliating 1-2x a week be beneficial?

hmm then yea i'd prob use a mild exfoliateryes like 2-3 times a day
0.05% every day.What % u using
Get a very mild exfoliator something with AHA/BHA0.05% every day.
i’m thinking bha because AHA makes you sun sensitiveGet a very mild exfoliator something with AHA/BHA
Maybe 0.025 won't make it as dry idk0.05% every day.
It literally is for face thoughNo retin a for face
Yeah I used a BHA one before but I don’t now since I’m on accutane. It’s good tbh can be used 1-2x a weeki’m thinking bha because AHA makes you sun sensitive
which one?Yeah I used a BHA one before but I don’t now since I’m on accutane. It’s good tbh can be used 1-2x a week
Neutrogena deep clean gentle scrubwhich one?
whats your routineMy skin is getting very flakey and dry. Would exfoliating 1-2x a week be beneficial?
wash face then apply retin a a few hours before sleep. about 10 mins before sleep i put on lotion.whats your routine
a banna face mask or eating bannas can help as well as vitamin c serum and Vaselinewash face then apply retin a a few hours before sleep. about 10 mins before sleep i put on lotion.
i wake up, wash face, lotion.
then lotion throughout the day if it’s flakey
its like peeling a bit. it’s dead skinApply it every other day until your skin stops flaking, then increase
Flaking is not good
How long have you been using it for?its like peeling a bit. it’s dead skin
so i started using it like 6 weeks ago. for the first 4.5 weeks i did it every other day. now i do it every dayHow long have you been using it for?
The slight gains that applying it every day gives you isnt worth the damaged moisture barrier. Some people's skin just cant handle retin-a everyday right away, they have to build up.
Dont use an aha, if your skin is flaking, it means the retin-a is exfoliating more than your skin can handle already.
how long u think. i’ll do one more day of this and if it’s bad i’ll take a breakbe careful,
the thing about breaking your moisture barrier is, you might have to completely stop retin-a for a bit until your moisture barrier repairs itself
No retin a for face
Uhm... Retin A is LITERALLY a facial cream.
