For context I'm 23 and this would be my first car.

On one hand, I don't really need it until August of this year and buying it, would only increase my monthly expenses

On the other hand, I'm 23 and never had a car, but does it really matter if I don't date anyway

I should probably just invest it into trading or something, hell even savings might be a better choice

depends,
if you want to have girls its like must have, but if you dont want to date and dont need it now, just dont buy it? Its only generate problems which costs money.

You're right, it would only cost me more ATM than what it would be useful

Depends also where on lives.
In hillbilly Town, it's needed.
In city centre New York, it's probably best to not own a car

How much does bare minimum cost, for a car in your locations?

Where I life, Netherlands.
* purchase car: 2500 euro, for something basic that is like 15 year old.
* car insurance, 40 euro per month.
* Road tax, 45 euro per month.
* maintenance, 50-100 euro per month.
* depreciation of car, 50 euro per month

It's a pretty convenient tool and it gives you a certain amount of freedom. Rest assured though, no women on earth cares about cars.

Yes
Buy one even if it's only to learn.
Autitsts here will tell you they can manage their lives well without a car but that's only because their life is fucking boring.
Once you get friends and even women, telling them you don't know how to drive a car qill be a huge turnoff and non nt indicator.

Sell it once you know how to drive and don't need it though

They don't care about which car you have, but they do care if you don't have a car

Imagine going on a date and picking up a girl on bicycle jfl

I already drive and have a driver's license, and I know it's a must if you date, but I don't, so in that regard it's useless

i agree. certain places, you can only visit an goi to by car. Also, it is in most places way time efficient to have a car. So it's good to have one, if your time is limited/your life is busy. it's worth paying money, to move around the quikest way possible, depending on how much money you make per hour.

based on ur budget get a used car, can be a german car that denotes "luxury" such as a mercedes (2008 til 2014 C-class) sedan ez status boost or if you want to have fun get a reliable practical truck such as a tacoma etc and use it for odd jobs as a side hustle.. do your own research and pick a car that resonates with you gl boyo

car = death. ride a bike, bike mogs

If you wana be cheap, get a bike and look cool, only proper gold diggers will be turned off, But you wouldn't have gotten those women anyways. A good used sports bike will go for 3k euros? Idk foids don't really care about cc and other cope stuff, You also won't be able to use a superbikes capabilities.

Although exotic brands are good, Ducatis are great but expensive af, Do they sell the bmw g310rr in europe?( it's made in india so idk), It's a fantastic bike get it if you like. Looks amazing, is powerful and bmw brand.

Bikes mog tbh, Every tom dick and harry have a car(most cars look ugly asf btw) but bikes they're great, also something different for women and some women dig it, when was the last time you heard a girl say having a toyota makes that guy so hot, They say it for some bikers though. Basically niche maxxing. Biking gear also isn't that expensive, Maybe like 200-300 euros or so I think could get cheaper if used.

although you should know how to drive a car, Get one on rent or something, I learnt how to drive in 4 days that too in india where people drive like donkeys and you have animals everywhere, You can easily learn it in a week, Learn manual.

I already know how to drive a car, here you can't buy a car if you don't have a license

I agree with you on bikes, however driving license for bikes is separated from the car one

And I don't have bile license plus it costs more than 2000 euros, so pretty damn expensive

Wtf, 2000 euros for a driving license for a bike🤡, It cost me 10 euros and I paid that so I wouldn't have to fill out forms or else it would've cost 4 euros

Oh, You live in Germany, are there hot women? I've heard hypergamy isn't as bad but height is very important

buy a cheap reliable daily that will take you from A to B without breaking down a lot and frustrating you with maintenance costs.

Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla/Yaris, Opel Corsa or VW Golf etc...

Germany isn't well known for beautiful women, so no, not many of them here

Height isn't the most important but because average height is 180 cm, you need to be TALL to stand out

For example, I'm 180 cm and I see women taller than me every day

And hypergamy isn't the problem, it's the women's standards

They are too high so average guy doesn't have a lot of options

Yeah that's the plan, Honda Civic or Mazda 3, although Civic is cheaper

The question is to buy it now or later since I don't really need it until August

don't buy a car for the sake of just owning a car

wait until the benefits of owning it outweigh the monetary drawbacks

with Volkswagen stay away from automatic transmission especially on older models. DCT transmissions tend be rather wonky.

I personally I had no problems with a 270k km 2012/320d BMW but it was because I got it from its original owner and he had maintained the car exceptionally well.

But yes, if you are planning on buying German, especially higher end German you better know how to turn a wrench or two alongside of having pockets that run deep.

The only question you should be asking yourself is if this will increase your job mobility (i.e. will it help you get a better job/apply to jobs that are not around your area) assuming public transportation is not sufficient.

If no, then no - do not buy a car and save the money.

Think it's worth buying a luxury car from 2005 to 2015? I don't wanna be doing maintenance every single day and end up costing more than a new car

Check out Honda Accord, in my area 2009 accord start at 4,500 euros

I would buy it, but I'm looking for something cheaper
