Should I buy reverse pull headgear? (Orthodontic)

Had braces for 2 years and this my last month or two, my orthodontist put me on rubber bands rn for fix underbite and I’m kinda scared to lost forward growth, should I buy that after finish with braces? That’s 15$ so i don’t really care ant money but I do care that I put that shit on my face for 1/2 year and got no change

growth plates arent the same as the sutures in your facial bones, by the time youre 16 your maxilla will resist the facial displacement from RPHG

Yes, its why RHPG only works with MARPE, as it splits the midpalatal suture and loosens the circummaxillary sutures, which allows the bone to be moved forward
