Moisterize as much as you can.

Of course. It's fine, it means it works. Soon your skin will adapt. Don't overdo it, however, because when you just start you're raping your skin cells with that shit.

what else do you use besides retin a?

you're not supposed to apply it every day at the beginning, do it every other day
moisturizing is an absolute must (20 minutes after application) and in the morning. Use sunscreen every day.

is it an exofoliating cleanser or a gentle cleanser? the stronger ones really fuck up my skin on tret.

Jfl I became a tomato with insane snowflake shit on my skin when starting retin-a, just keep pushing man its worth it 100%

I am like a year in and still get red if I apply too much sometimes. This stuff is a long haul product, some women who have been using it for decades end up looking 5-10 years younger than they would otherwise. You can take a day off from it every once in a while if your skin becomes too irritated.

Make sure skin is dry before you apply and buffer with moisturizer start once every 3 days.
