IRL approach you have to just kind of wing it. If a girl likes the way you look and you don't seem creepy she'll give you her number. If you see a cute girl on the street (admittedly your example of going in is a bit harder, but it's possible to make it work) just go up to her and say something along the lines of "Excuse me hi I'm sorry to bother you but I walked by and I couldn't help but notice you. I'm on my way to [X location] right now but I thought you looked interesting." and go from there. I know it might be cringe but honestly it's straight forward, not too creepy and can't be really considered aggressive or too imposing. It works for me.

Whenever I've been approached by women on the street though they have just walked up to me and said hi no real introduction needed (probably because they know they're women and they don't need one) - One even walked up to me and asked if I was lost because I was standing outside somewhere waiting for a friend.
