Should i get braces?

My teeth are pretty fine i have like 3 crooked teeth and a slight crossbite. My ortho suggested Self-ligating braces. Im wondering should i get them since i dont wanna ruin my face beacuse ive heard diffrent things about braces?

I dont know what have you heard about braces, if he puts the right elastics you'll be fine. Braces are something good tbh, just be careful w the elastics he puts you on.

I mean the elastics is what actually does the biomechanical tension to move the bones so... if your ortho said you didn't need them It would be good if you asked him why tho

I got 4 teeth removed and braces for one year - didn't recess me but I'm not sure if it's different for different people, but done properly and you should be fine

I feel like braces will do the work... but im not sure about the elastics. It doesn't look like you need them that hard. Yeah braces will be fine

braces recessing you is a myth. take the opportunity to have braces. its a privilege
