Should i get teeth extractions?

So my smile looks fucked and i have teeth crowding, i have also asked if a palatal expander is possible but they said my lower teeth wont match my upper ones thus fucking up my bite(according to them) after that they said that all they can do is teeth extractions(4 total, 2 lower teeth and 2 upper teeth and then braces) will it improve my looks or recess me even more?

Extraction is bound to recess you like that one user had said, also from what you've said it seems a bit like bullshit that there is nothing else to do but extract, orthos are eager bastards that will lie to your face just so they can have some easy work. Get a second opinion bhai.

Tooth extraction will lead to contraction of your alveolar ridge. It takes 2 thoughts to understand this. You'll go through skeletal remodelling and it'll recess your maxilla and jaw. Very significant loss of bone density and you'll end up severely ugly and boneless. And since you weren't as much recessed before you're going to be after extractions, you'll end up with lose skin and most likely develop prominent nasalobialfolds(long story short you'll become a chud)
Ik a LOT of people who get pressured to get extractions by their dentist and ended up ugly. This is super common bro, don't listen to your dentist and go elsewhere.
Even if your lower set of teeth don't match the upper set after expansion, you can get lower palate expanders to reach ideal match.

You'll be able to expand your dental arch so it fits you upper palate and doesn't create problems for your bite. Might be a bit costlier but c'mon don't descend boyo when there's an obvious way to ascend. So obviously don't get extractions, find a more appropriate solution for your bite.
