So I'm 21, and I was at uni for 2 years doing accounting and finance, but was depressed and hated my degree so I took a gap year and worked full time while studying an unrelated field i enjoy. However, I now feel like I'm missing out, seeing everyone partying and having fun completing their degrees etc. I never realised how lonely and HARD TO MEET GIRLS when you are working full time.
So in 2022 I gymmaxed and am lean 5'10 70kg plus I've sorted out my acne and have been softmaxxing and fixing my depression. The field I've been studying through community college will need 2-2.5 more years to complete and is free, but if I go back to uni and study the same field plus finish off my business degree it will take up to 4 years (Ill have about 40k debt by the end too). Both avenues to studying will get me the same job (maybe slightly more pay and higher career ceiling doing the uni path).
I feel confident I can pull girls at uni since my physique is really good and ive improved my face since I left, plus I'm not (as) socially awkward (anymore).
So my question to you is, is it worth going back to uni to make "lifelong friends" and to try slay (or get gf) even if it means I get my qualifications later and i incurr 40k debt.
Is this just FOMO? Is the uni experience overated? Can anyone speak from experience?
