So I'm 21, and I was at uni for 2 years doing accounting and finance, but was depressed and hated my degree so I took a gap year and worked full time while studying an unrelated field i enjoy. However, I now feel like I'm missing out, seeing everyone partying and having fun completing their degrees etc. I never realised how lonely and HARD TO MEET GIRLS when you are working full time.

So in 2022 I gymmaxed and am lean 5'10 70kg plus I've sorted out my acne and have been softmaxxing and fixing my depression. The field I've been studying through community college will need 2-2.5 more years to complete and is free, but if I go back to uni and study the same field plus finish off my business degree it will take up to 4 years (Ill have about 40k debt by the end too). Both avenues to studying will get me the same job (maybe slightly more pay and higher career ceiling doing the uni path).

I feel confident I can pull girls at uni since my physique is really good and ive improved my face since I left, plus I'm not (as) socially awkward (anymore).

So my question to you is, is it worth going back to uni to make "lifelong friends" and to try slay (or get gf) even if it means I get my qualifications later and i incurr 40k debt.

Is this just FOMO? Is the uni experience overated? Can anyone speak from experience?

Just go to the university and make friends then get invited to the parties. You don't need to be a student to get invited to university parties or even to walk on campus.

I miss college a lot sometimes.

I couldn't finish my degree. I hanged out with people and went to bars. Felt great to be part of a social circle.
Also I was like the guardian of the library. They had this stupid policy of making the students put back the books on the shelves by themselves. When i noticed books alone on a table I picked them up and put them in their section since I knew the layout of the whole library.

So you wish you went back to finish your degree and have friends?

Tbh op you might not believe me but your life wouldn't be any different if you went back to College.
You said your now gymceled and got your acne fixed up bit thata still not enough I'm just being honest. Your short at 5'10 and aren't chad so what do you think is gonna happen?
The foids in college are gonna ignore you, even more so when they realize your older than them

College is a dead experience. Your most "experience" should have really been during the off days of highschool times. Well, this is who you really are. If you were introv then, then no new experience would really change that. Its like me saying "i miss going to partys" when i literally can just go to a party right now and non nt stand in the corner. Whatever you think your missing you literally can gain right now, if possible and if you actually wanted to. Disconnect to who you are and who you think you want to be.

Classes in college are not unified and your just going to be in the same thoughts. Still will have to manually make friends like if you were to just to go any city party or social event. Accept your evolution to truth.
