Should I go for a plastic surgeon or dermatologist ?

Hey everyone. I recently had a bike accident that leaves some facial lacerations. Should I go for a plastic surgeon or dermatologist ? What kind of treatment should I consider ?
The wound is still kind of fresh , how long should I wait before I make an appointment?
Do Asians skin-type prone to have scars after deep cuts?

They will go away with time. A dermatologist would be the right choice though (compared to a plastic surgeon).
