I believe your current hairline is nothing to be afraid of tbh. Should monitor and see but it looks normal to me. I heard (not confirmed afaik by any scientific research Im aware of) that you should go by your mother parents to see about baldness

If you notice you're balding hop on fin and see if you get sides or not

I want to try and keep all my hair as much as I can in my middle ages.

My mother's parents (I don't like them because of their distant treatment towards her, dad and me on a visit) didn't seem to have any bad balding last time I went.
 
I would wait a year or two and then hop on. Do you think you have high dht sensitivity?

How would you describe my hairline?
Not at all. In my immediate sides of my family, nobody balds, but my mother's mother does have a little bit of hairloss (last time I saw her, I never want to interact with her side of the family again). However, some of my cousins' older brothers and uncles on my dad's side of the family do have DHT sensitivity.

Keep an close eye on the area in question and take pictures regularly, if you see it creeping up within a year or so then decide if you want to hop on fin, once you do it you can't go back

Every man is balding or at the least taking follicle damage from dht. The question is how fast. What Fin can do is keep you subcritical until your mid 30s, when it matters the most. If you value your hair there is no reason you shouldnt be on finasteride.

It highly depends on how it used to look, I don't know if you had somewhat the same hairline your entire life or it just started going back. Usually you look at the wrinkles when you raise your eyebrows and determine if it's gone past your mature hairline or if it is staying at right over the last wrinkle. This method doesn't work for everyone but that's what I've read so far

You’ve showed the whole picture and its literally a middle part. You need to wet your hair and pull it all backwards in order to tell. My hair normally doesnt look norwooding But when Pulling it back wet its clear its starting to receed.

Noted. I want to keep much of my hair as possible in my 30s and beyond.

My hairline has been the same throughout my life. I do however, want to keep most of my hair as I age.
