Should I inject air into my vial

Basically I have a vial of reta and its rlly hard to pull up liquid, with the needle, im basically only pulling up air lol even tho theres plenty of liquid inside. I searched online that u ahve to inject some air in it to stop the vacumn. Is this true?

Pull back the plunger to the amount you want, then blow that amount in before extracting the reta

no you are supposed to do it, just look up a video on how to inject if you don't know how
