My nighttime routine consists of tretinoin 0.05g, azelaic acid 20%, and H Iso Biome moisturizer. I feel like it's a routine with a lot of active ingredients. Should I pause any products during the treatment?

-what I noticed with this routine + isotretinoin

•My acne has almost completely cleared up, although in the last few days, after a month of isotretinoin, I've gotten a few more on my forehead and jaw.

•I have red and brown spots all over my cheeks

•Most days I notice my face feels tight, very dehydrated and tense, and every time something touches it or my face gets wet, it peels in flakes in that area, especially in the lower third of my face

What should I do?

looksmax.org is not a total replacement for a simple google search.

It depends on what you're currently experiencing. For example some people don't experience side effects on 0.025% tretinoin, so they jump to 0.05% and if their skin tolerates that well try jumping to 0.01%.
Dermatologists dont reccomend using other actives on isotretinoin just cus its probably a waste of money and some people dk when to stop and continue using other actives that can be drying or damaging. U gotta know that isotretinoin is already the fucking god medication for acne. Nothing else will surpass it.

Since ur saying ur face is hella peeling when it gets wet (normal imo) it wont hurt to js pause with the tretinoin and azelaic for now if you do too much and fuck up ur skin barrier u will need to spend alot of money on repairing it and ur skin will look hella shit and dull for afew months. Js stick with the moisturizer and use alot of it
Even if ur in a tropical country and feel like muh i dont need moisturiser its pretty humid and warm here you will still need it. Big mistake some ppl do thinking their own oily skin counts as "already moisturized" and skip it

Also remember to use spf ur skin is hella sensitive on isotretinoin

Also after ur skin clears up and you fully have no acne and look like a shiny ass gay mf with makeup (Actual goal btw) u can js do tretinoin with azelaic for your actives indefinitely its already a hella good skincare routine by its own no need for niacinamide or vit c or other expensive bullshit

Dont forget spf and moisturizer people skip this and fuck up their skin
