Seek a therapist/phychiatrist, they know most about battling this, not us. If I were you, I would focus on things you could control, and find things that are more meaningful. Easier said than done, I know! So, I seeked third party intervention and got diagnosed with ADHD and made this process much easier. Do the same but with a therapist/phychiatrist!
