Should I secretly adopt a cat?

I still live with my mother and we currently have 2 dogs.

I've repeatedly asked for a cat but my mom doesn't allow it.

But I'm doing horrible mentally and I really want a cat and since im 18 I'm considering just adopting one of these two.

What do you guys think?
