Should i take hgh?

Im 5'8 and my growth plates are open, but im a nic addict. I tried to stop smoking and i grew like an inch taller for 2 weeks despite thinking i stopped growing. Idk if i need hgh or maybe just try to stop smoking. I turned 16 recently and ive been addicted since i was 14.
