Should i try to get an adhd diagnosis?

i went to a psych and said i cant get shit done etc, he then gave me a referral to neuropsychologist to get an official adhd diagnosis. I have to pay for the appointment myself so if i go there i will do everything I can to convince him i have adhd.

im in germany, we have dexamphetamine here. im m18, before paying for the diagnosis and going through all that work, I need to know if its worth it. There was a guy that i wanted to dm like a week ago but i was too lazy and the thread where he commented is now deleted. Can you please comment here? You had that guy as an avi that posted on a forum once where he asked if he was ugly with cod black ops tshirt.

Also other niggas who take adhd meds, is getting a diagnosis worth it? I can get shit done but i extremely procrastinate, idk if its actual adhd because it got worse the older i got so it also could be that i am just lazy asf.

17 turning 18 soon, but I'm in the moment for now. It just makes me a little tired, but you might get some headaches and stomachaches early on, but that's how the majority of meds work. To be honest, after a week of being on it, you should be good.

I am also in the eu i know already, i take lisdexamfetamine but both of those are pretty powerful so if you get a diagnosis they will most likely prescribe you something like concerta or mefeda, the reason i even got on lisdexamfetamine was because i stopped feeling the effects on the weaker ones and they just gave me the most powerful stimulant they could give.

Basically, when you are trying to focus on math class, and i don't like math class, then my concentration subconciously drifts away after a minute without even me noticing, and i realise that i'm not focusing on the class so i go back to focusing, repeat that for the entire class and then the class is over and i learnt nothing,

I used to feel like i could concentrate on multiple things at once, and i felt as i was actually learning from the classes back when mefeda actually had effect, but afterwards when i built resistance to it, at smaller doses i felt nothing, and in higher doses i just felt dizzy, like where focusing on stuff with my eyes almost like hurt????, and i just hopped off for like a year cuz it wasn't helping. Skip to about 2 weeks ago i was in the mental hospital and my doctor/psychiatrist wanted me to try different adhd stimulants again since they stopped working, first i tried concerta for 2 days, which instead of making me feel dizzy, now made me INSANELY anxious, to the point where i would actually rather die than endure this medicine induce anxiety, alongside with that i also was sweating the entire time and had absolutely no appetite so when i would force myself to eat i would be gagging like crazy, so they put me on lisdexamfetamine, which didn't seem to have any effect either but it didn't make me feel even half as anxious as before, so the doctor just put me on it for now, i've been on it for 11 days and i still don't feel any difference but they said i'm in the timeframe of getting used to it, thats what the doctor told me atleast.

and also i've had a problem on neglecting things that are actually important to me, such as school etc, hence why my life has never been good, i've made it harder for myself but i can't help myself, for a little when mefeda actually seemed to be helping i thought my quality of life would go up, but instead i built resistance and everything came crashing down.

If you have been experiencing adhd symptoms your whole life, lack of motivation, trouble being organized and difficulty paying attention then you likely have adhd. If it has just been the past 4 or 5 years you might just be brainrotted and need to take a break from social media. Either way adhd meds can help you. But if u tell the doctor u have only been having attention issues recently they will likely reject ur adhd diagnosis.

It's worth it, there is no really much side effects if you do the right protocol

Meds has there pros and cons, common cons I’ve experienced are loss of appetite and less energetic. The pro is that I could focus really good in school, if you want to focus better you should definitely get it but also look into the cons. There are a lot.

if you're European I can tell you some vendors but for US I don't know much, but in the US it's easier there is a LOT of vendors for ADHD meds

I just read that they only prescribe XR in your country so I suppose you are in EU, if you want DM and I tell you the name of some vendors, but still they are pretty easy to find if you use Dread and the filters on the markets
