Should i try to get an adhd diagnosis?

i went to a psych and said i cant get shit done etc, he then gave me a referral to neuropsychologist to get an official adhd diagnosis. I have to pay for the appointment myself so if i go there i will do everything I can to convince him i have adhd.

im in germany, we have dexamphetamine here. im m18, before paying for the diagnosis and going through all that work, I need to know if its worth it. There was a guy that i wanted to dm like a week ago but i was too lazy and the thread where he commented is now deleted. Can you please comment here? You had that guy as an avi that posted on a forum once where he asked if he was ugly with cod black ops tshirt.

Also other niggas who take adhd meds, is getting a diagnosis worth it? I can get shit done but i extremely procrastinate, idk if its actual adhd because it got worse the older i got so it also could be that i am just lazy asf.

Why do you need another persons opinion?You are clearly in thus position for a reason, do what you feel is right.

As a person with adhd, meds seriously do help, I’m in America and take methylphenidate (ritalin) and I seriously feel that dopamine response to shit that normally is a drag, a bit easier to get started or do.

That being said, it also takes your own effort to do the task. The medicine will stimulate your dopamine response, but it won’t move your muscles and do your homework for you. If you know what I mean, you got to have that small motivation to get started.
