Should i try to get an adhd diagnosis?

i went to a psych and said i cant get shit done etc, he then gave me a referral to neuropsychologist to get an official adhd diagnosis. I have to pay for the appointment myself so if i go there i will do everything I can to convince him i have adhd.

im in germany, we have dexamphetamine here. im m18, before paying for the diagnosis and going through all that work, I need to know if its worth it. There was a guy that i wanted to dm like a week ago but i was too lazy and the thread where he commented is now deleted. Can you please comment here? You had that guy as an avi that posted on a forum once where he asked if he was ugly with cod black ops tshirt.

Also other niggas who take adhd meds, is getting a diagnosis worth it? I can get shit done but i extremely procrastinate, idk if its actual adhd because it got worse the older i got so it also could be that i am just lazy asf.

Well, if it makes you procrastinate highly, then I suggest getting a diagnosis. But med-wise, I am not sure what they have in Germany, but I do benefit from it and get stuff done in one sitting. So yes, get it.

idk most things that could be done in an hour take me weeks to get it done with sometimes, but other stuff I can get done if i really want it. It could also be brainrot syndrome but its been like that since about 4 years. Probably more likely that i am just lazy asf but if the meds still help i think it would be good to get them.

17 turning 18 soon, but I'm in the moment for now. It just makes me a little tired, but you might get some headaches and stomachaches early on, but that's how the majority of meds work. To be honest, after a week of being on it, you should be good.

u can get things done but procrastinate because you have means to cheap dopamine (games, phone, porn, music, etc.) that give you the same amount of dopamine as working hard would and succeeding in the real world would, while also fucking up ur attention span

u just need to label those things as a distraction from the real world meant to steal your attention and replace it with shit that will actually lvl u up
this is the problem for 99% of people with "adhd" or "executive dysfunction" (the 4 year of phone loop u mentioned)
or take meds and keep being an incel idc

I am german, and I got diagnosed.

I am not on medication, though.

Anyway, ADHD diagnosis is a joke, it’s a label used to gather a range of neurologic symptoms together.
