Before my surgeries, when I would spend thousands of dollars on dating apps like OkCupid to get access to new members and then mass message then before they would realize they have better options, I would go on about 0 to 3 dates a year.

During some of those dates we would have conversations for hours and I would feel like I truly made a connection and would think I've finally found someone who's genuinely attracted to me and I won't be an incel anymore. During the dates I would fantasize about our lives together and I would be filled with so much hope.

Then every single time I would message them after the date and would receive a reply days later about how they don't want to see me again.
