These pathways have nothing to do with the moa of height growth, they are used for bone health. The reason why SWT could be potentially used to treat osteoporosis is because it reduces oxidative stress (high ROS leads to osteoporosis). This just maintains bone density and prevents the bone from degrading, it has nothing to do with stimulating longitudinal bone growth which is what causes height growth.

This is a more complicated answer that I would have to read more into, but yes pi3k pathway is important for height growth.

If PI3K is responsible for increasing igf1 by stimulating GH release, then the igf1 will bind to the plate receptor and signal for chondrocytes to multiply and then mature and ossify which will lead to longitudinal bone growth.

But then does any of this matter if you aren't deficient in igf1/gh in the first place? That's why kids are put onto GH in studies, but for a normal and healthy teen in development SWT would be useless.

Rehmannia, Angelica, Paeonia, Ligusticum. The roots or different parts of the plants are used to create a powder or sum.

Si-Wu-Tang (SWT), a traditional Chinese formula consisting of Rehmanniae Radix (the processed root of Rehmannia glutinosa Libosch, Shu Di Huang), Angelica Radix (the root of Angelica sinensis Diels, Dang Gui), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (the rhizome of Ligusticum chuanxiong Hortorum, Chuan Xiong), and Paeoniae Radix (the root of Paeonia lactiflora Pall, Shao Yao), was first recorded in Tai Ping Huei Min Ho Chi Chu Fang of the Sung dynasty (A.D. 1107~1110). It has traditionally been used for treating gynecological diseases, such as relief of menstrual irregularity, dysmenorrhea, uterine bleeding, climacteric syndrome, and other estrogen-related diseases. Furthermore, traditional medicine doctors also use it to cure weakness in various parts of the body due to anemia [1]. Recently, there have been many systemic biology-based investigations that demonstrated the mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs).
