Routine ive been experimenting with the past 2 months.

>morning
> wet face and use la Roche posy hydrating gentle cleanser
> dry my face without rubbing with towel by patting
> use la Roche posey double repair face moisturizer (it functions as both sunscreen and moisturizer)

>night
> la orche posai hydrating gentle cleanser
> wait like 30 minutes for it to dry (pat dry if I need to hurry)
> Differin adapalene gel (to prevent acne)

the Differin adapelene gel ive been using for 2 months, it recommends using it for 3 months, it says it gets worse for the first two weeks as it takes time to adapt. It seems to be working so far, ive been getting less acne but im still waiting to make a final decision on whether its coincidence or actually the gel. ill let you guys know once Ive done it for a few more months

should I add anything to the routine, switch out any products? need to mathematically optimize my routine and mog. any recommendations?

very solid, maybe moisturize at night cuz differin would dry out the skin naturally and ur body loses water / produces less oil while sleeping

Add spf for the morning
the moisturizer is both a moisturizer and sunscreen with spf 30, mainly use it because differin adapalene gel actually increases sun sensitivity so I use it to reduce hyperpigmentation risk

Try to replace your Adapalene with Tretinoin. Also try to add a toner, moisturizer, and eye cream in your pm routine. Quick note, you can both use your moisturizer both am and pm.

thanks, I actually should do this because I got a little spot next to my nose barely visible but it basically peeled off and stung for a while, think maybe the lack of moisturizer at night is why?

ive heard tretinoin is really good but is hard to get and also has some fertility or cancer risks, true?

pretty much , thats a sign that the skin barrier next to your nose may be damaged from using differin w/o moisturizing at night. also the skin in the creases of the nose is very thin and sensitive, differin can pool there easily which can cause peeling/stinging as you described
