It was a place full of glass. There were several windows. So many windows that every hour of the day, light gleamed through them. Moon or sun. The floors were glossy and reflective. One could see their own body reflected onto the windows, floors, and as a shadow. It was a place that made you hyperaware of your existence as a tormented being.
You had snacks. You sat and listened to music. Torment would engulf you, but you were okay with it for some reason. You knew this was your destiny. Acceptance is key. Accept defeat and give up. It made you smile and you continued eating all alone in the huge house in the sky while torment kept you company. And you two lived forever together. A love like no other. But completely one sided.
