Ive been sleeping on my back for the last 1.5 years but i heard that it causes downward growth due to lack of tongue posture while sleeping.
It prevents assymetry but at cost of downward growth.
Sleeping on the side causes the clavicles/shoulders to be assymetric, appearing uneven/shorter.
whats the best sleeping position and did i inform myself wrong or no?

I don’t think sleep position is the biggest deal when it comes to facial structure, but I could be mistaken. Likely age dependent when it comes to bone.

I would say just sleep however is comfortable, I hear the left side recommended the most.

I also believe you should be moving positions in your sleep the degree where the specific position you fall asleep in won’t be a big deal, because you aren’t going to stay in it all night.
