I’m sick and tired of people with shitty sleep habits. I’m not even the one suffering, but just knowing how common it is pisses me off. And don’t even get me started on the dudes bragging about being "night owls" or "only getting 4 hours of sleep." No, bro, you’re not built different. you’re killing yourself. Slowly. Stupidly.

Sleep is the most underrated cheat code for EVERYTHING. You want to look better? Get stronger? Have more energy? Be less stupid? Sleep is the answer. But instead, prioritize miracle supplements, surgeries or protocols that are only backed by anecdotal evidence found in some obscure forum from 2009, when the real key to leveling up is right there, AND IT’S FREE. Before you even think about surgery, hormone therapy, or some overpriced bullshit product, ask yourself: Are you even sleeping properly? If not, shut the fuck up and fix that first.

I’ve been obsessed with this. I’ve read scientific papers, articles, listened to podcasts, tested things myself. And I’ve cracked the damn code, perfect sleep, 99.99% of the time. If you care about yourself, read this and start acting like it. Here's a couple fun facts:
  • One night with 4 hours of sleep caused a 70% drop in natural killer cells (the things that fight off cancer). Just one night.
  • Sleep deprivation causes brain damage, literally. After just one sleepless night, young healthy participants had a 20% increase in S100-B levels, the same kind of spike seen after a traumatic brain injury.
  • Testosterone drops by 10-15% after just a week of bad sleep. Let me put that in perspective: that’s the equivalent of aging 10–15 years overnight.
(And no, sleep alone won’t take you from normie to god-tier, but it’s the foundation. Without it, you’re fucking yourself over before you even start.)

The Non-Negotiable Rules for Sleep Mastery:

  1. Sunlight - Get at least 30 minutes a day, split between morning and evening. I like to take a 15–20 min walk after sunrise and before sunset. Stare in the general direction of the sun (not directly) to set your biological clock. Your melatonin and cortisol cycles will thank you.
  2. Duration - 7.5 to 9 hours. No more. Definitely no less. 9 hours is peak optimization. If you’re still growing, don’t even think about cutting corners here.
  3. Circadian Rhythm - Same sleep and wake-up time. Every. Single. Day. No “weekend exceptions.” No “just one late night.” I wake up at 7 AM and sleep at 10 PM like a religion. Do the same.
  4. Wind-Down Routine - 30-60 minutes before bed. No screens. No stress. Do something calm, meditation, stretching, reading. I personally kill all screens, do breathwork, then read. Simple and effective.
  5. Food Timing - No eating 2-3 hours before bed.
    • Digestion fucks your sleep quality.
    • Nutrient absorption drops while sleeping, you're wasting your food.
    • Late-night eating destroys growth hormone production, which means you literally stunt your height. Imagine being shorter just because you couldn’t stop eating before bed, fatass.
  6. Stimulants & Substances - Caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate) 4-6 hours before bed? Dumb. Alcohol? Dumber. Smoking or drugs? You’re beyond saving, ropemaxx.
  7. Temperature Control - Your body needs to cool down to sleep properly. Keep your room cool (use a fan or AC). Bonus: the white noise helps you fall asleep. Also, sleep naked or wear light clothes and take a shower before bed, it helps with temperature regulation.
If sleep isn’t your #1 priority, you’re self-sabotaging. There’s no debate. Every expert, every study, every high-performer agrees: SLEEP IS KING. But most people treat it like an afterthought.

If you aren’t sleeping like your life depends on it, you’re fucking yourself over. Plain and simple. No return on investment, no gains, just pure, unfiltered self-destruction.

Don’t be a dumbass. Fix your sleep. :incel:

would cold or hot showers be preferable before going to bed?

would cold or hot showers be preferable before going to bed?
Whichever you prefer. I personally take hot showers, yes they may temporarily increase your body temperature. But either way, the water eventually helps regulate your body temperature as it evaporates, so it's the same effect no matter if the water is hot or cold. Also, hot showers have less of a chance of shocking you a little and making you less sleepy as a result, they're just more relaxing.

But if you prefer cold water, that's an option too.
