Ive read in a thread that It would be better to expand at a lower rate (not the usual 3 months) with MSE in order for your upper maxilla to catch up and total bone remodelling to work? Does this actually have any base?
This study showed that rapid expansion had minimal but greater impact in the skeletal change
What type of expander is MSE considered, rapid? And does it make any sense in reducing the treatment span? Im talking about young patients, Im 18 personally.
Even for negligible result Id like to maximize any mid-upper maxilla expansion gain if its possible.
