Having a small social circle is probably one of the best things you can experience in life. Having a friend group of 8 or even 3 of the most loyal friends is a top 3 life experience. I often here parents asking their kids to make new friends. Insinuating they want you to be popular, being “popular” just means trying to fit in with everyone else which is pure hell and is so performative. Having a friendgroup of likeminded people with similar interests and humor is one of the best life experiences.

Noone to worry about spiking ur cortisol. Theres someone out there around you with similar interests as you tho. I encourage 1-2 friends
