I book an appointment, on the phone they bombard me with the question “why?” “why do you want this lateral ceph?”

In my head I am confused, why is the receptionist asking me this, surely it’s not your business? She accepts when I say it’s private and tells me they’ll probably ask me when I come in. I say fine

When I go in, they ask me why, why, why (in my head i think simply; i am paying you shouldn’t you just accept it lol) but after hounding me for so long i eventually crack, i just tell them (i snore in my sleep and feel as if my airways may be blocked, maybe a lateral ceph will help me see if my recession causes restricted breathing, the man agrees but tells me that my recession is not bad and that it wouldn’t be medically or ethically correct to expose me to radiation

he asks me for any other reasons i just admit that cosmetics is an issue for me and i want to know whether i need a bimax and/or genio be it for functional or cosmetic reasons, he just tells me he’s not scanning me and i have to go
