I used to believe in the biological predetermination of sexual orientation in humans, but nowadays I'm leaning more towards it being mostly an outcome of environmental conditioning. It's a set of factors, I don't understand why people want to boil it down to just one thing.
Genetics, environment, being abused, all influence.

the rape factor is misunderstood because homosexual male children put themselves in situations to be abused/raped. just like how girls meet ADULT men online and its "childhood rape".
