If you’re with one of your boyos who is social just stick with them and try not to look awkward.

If you’re by yourself just check your phone and keep to yourself when possible.

However, these are short term fixes. you need to put yourself in uncomfortable situations and you will get better at talking to people over time. I’m not very good at talking to people but every party I force myself to go to ends up benefiting me as I talk to more girls and feel more calm each time and I don’t even drink.

There will be some situations were you simply can’t cope and have to thug it out no matter how embarrassing or gut wrenching the outcome. At the end of the day NO ONE cares about how you act even 1% as much as you care yourself.
