Social media is depressing due to how stupid most people are

I open it up and I immediately see posts with thousands of likes about how cheaper everything was in the 1930s (retards don't realize inflation has caused the value of money to go down and adjusted to inflation most things cost the same) or posts written by fat normie retards about how sugar being bad isn't a conspiracy and how calories aren't accurate and you should just eat whatever.

Just opening any app makes me extremely misanthropic nowadays. Even when I visit discord I encounter people so dimwitted that it makes me question if life is a dream or not.
