Sodium Lauryl ether sulfate

So my dermatologist prescribed me an anti dandruff shampoo with SLER. It’s been working well and I have 0 dandruff but it still contains that sulfate and I’m afraid of long term hair damage. Should I go no shampoo or stick to this one?

Just stick it out for 1.5 months then buy a hood shanpoo like noun or based and hope it’s not badly damaged
