Some of my favorite movies not in order

I've come to appreciate 2 over time.
I think 3 had loads of good ideas but apparently Raimi was forced by Sony to include both Sandman and Venom.
Originally, he only wanted Sandman, I think.

And they was going to do a 4th film but it got cancelled, I think if the 3rd movie did better in terms of reviews we definitely could have seen a 4th Spider-Man .

3 tried to do too much at once. Harry, Sandman, Venom. That was the problem.

There are some great deleted scenes which really flesh out the Sandman, making me think he was meant to be the central antagonist of the film - not Venom.

The final scene of 3 should have been Brock getting the Symbiote as a set-up for the next film.
