I didn't say that, i meant that you don't have to tell an islamic judge if you commit a sin, its just an extremely good deed to do. And the hadith i talked about where the prophet turned down someone 3 times before stonning him is part of that same chapter of the book of legal punishments

'Abdullah b. Buraida reported on the authority of his father that Ma'iz b. Malik al-Aslami came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said:
Allah's Messenger, I have wronged myself; I have committed adultery and I earnestly desire that you should purify me. He turned him away. On the following day, he (Ma'iz) again came to him and said: Allah's Messenger, I have committed adultery. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) turned him away for the second time, and sent him to his people saying: Do you know if there is anything wrong with his mind. They denied of any such thing in him and said: We do not know him but as a wise good man among us, so far as we can judge. He (Ma'iz) came for the third time, and he (the Holy Prophet) sent him as he had done before. He asked about him and they informed him that there was nothing wrong with him or with his mind. When it was the fourth time, a ditch was dug for him and he (the Holy Prophet) pronounced judg- ment about him and he wis stoned.

I don't think you know how religion and society works. It is incentivised to confess your major sins because confessing and repenting your major sins means all your past sins are forgiven. It's hard for a fascist to understand that.

No; the meaning of kafir is "rejecter (of the truth)" and is not applicable to this. There are however differences in opinion in the four schools of Islam and I happen to adhere to the one with the largest amount of followers (Hanafi) where masturbation is permitted. You probably are hearing it from an Arab who tend to be Maliki or Shafi I think and according to their school of thought it's not permissible. That does not mean that they are right and I am wrong- in fact it's the other way around. Their school of thought allows eating shrimp but Hanafi school says it is haram due to shrimps being bottomfeeders (they feed on poop of other fish) and thus unclean. There is the concept of "kufr" where you may commit an act that goes against Islam; for instance when I try to say "doing drugs is halal", saying this would make me committing an act of kufr (disbelief).

This type of situation is not that uncommon, but the fact that he recorded it is not good. Women have been killed or committed suicide because of a leaked sex video. At the end of the day, he did not force her to undress and commit pre-marital sex so she is ultimately to blame but he is also to blame for recording it. Now he can blackmail her for more sex with the threat that he'll release the video, and usually this doesn't end well for either of the two involved once family finds out.
