I've been to two speed dating events now and got two dates from them. I can't believe I didn't find out about this sooner. Let's compare

Tinder:
-Most men barely get any matches, and most matches don't even respond.
-The number of women willing to meet up is even lower jfl

Cold approach:
-Awkward as hell, brutal rejections, many women aren't even single

Speed Dating:
-You get to meet 10+ women face to face immediately. No swiping and and texting for months just to get one woman to meet up.
-No approach anxiety and no awkwardness since the event is organized with 5 minute conversations each. It's usually just chill conversations.
-No brutal rejections. If they reject you they simply don't circle your nickname at the end and you don't get each other's email.
-Very time efficient. In one hour you have more real face to face convos with women than you might meet in months of using dating apps.

Wish I found out about this shit sooner. I'm completely done with clubbing and and dating apps now. I will just go to one speed dating event per week.

Varied. I think women just try it out for fun. One of the girls I went on a date with is a shy bookworm type you would never meet in a club.
