Influencers cope by saying sprints boost HGH for height and bone growth but it's another way around it rises to heal inflammation

There are multiple controlled studies on sprint intervals measuring growth hormone,
growth factors and inflammatory mediators
IGF-1, and inflammatory markers
Growth hormone goes up immediately after sprinting alongside
lactate and inflammatory cytokines
(https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21785293/)

Another study measured GH, IGF-1, cortisol, and inflammatory markers after brief sprint intervals.
GH spiked Inflammation increased
IL-6 stayed elevated an hour later But IGF-1 responsible for tissue growth did not significantly increase

C:
  1. That growth hormone spike doesn't last.
  2. After the stress response, levelsfall back down often lower than before sprint.
  3. That's because sprinting isn't anabolic. It's a stress signal meant for repair, not growth.

Don’t fall for this cope lol

It’s not enough for growth and it’s just a little spike, it does release growth hormone but nowhere near enough.
