No. keep in mind that you need to reapply sunscreens every 2 hours. And sunscreen won’t help shit if you’re staying inside.

So why not spend a couple more bucks (we'll get to sunscreen companies later) to make your skin look 10 times better?





When it comes to aging and other bad factors caused by the sun, a major risk factor is prolonged exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation- known as UVA or UVB rays.
to comprehend UV radiation and how it damages your skin is an important step in safeguarding yourself out of the risk of it (already said what the risks are). But there’s some good news don’t worry, you can still greatly reduce the danger posed by UV radiation, you can’t still enjoy being outdoor (which a lot of yall don’t do, start going outside incels!) and limit the risk of the sun by taking simple, smart protective measures.

Let’s comprehend what is UV radiation first :



the sun is like a laser that is destroying your skin overtime time, UVA and UVB are the cause of your skin against (we will get to how they affect differently on the skin later).
UVA rays- cause premature aging beacuse unprotected exposure to them (without spf) can cause damage in your dna skin cells, produce genetic defects and mutations and SKIN CANCER which is very common in people who don’t use spf, and UVA is also associated with tanning and sunburn.
for people who worried about their eyes looking worse check this out- UVB rays can lead to eye damage, including cataracts and EYELID CANCERS which does NOT look good for your “hunter eyes”.
UVB rays-
penetrates and damages the outermost layers of your skin which can cause either tanning or sunburn or both.




Something tall needs to be to understand -
It doesn’t matter when your outside even if it’s while sunrise or sundown you still need to watch out beacuse it still damage your skin the same it’s in the middle of the day. the same for the temperatures; it doesn’t matter if it’s snowing, the sun still harm your skin.
Your still exposed to the sun even if it’s behind clouds, the uva rays can still penetrate windows and clouds.

Ok now that we fully acknowledged the importance of the sun let’s talk about why you even entered this thread:





2. SPF applying:
SPF is known to massively reduce your melanoma risk and the damage it can bring to your skin with it.
one of the biggest change you can make to your skin without any bullshit is applying sunscreen each morning and through the day.
SPF levels- people with acne should not fucking use high level of spf: 40+ and I see ton of people with acne doing it (such as low iq trait).
why tho?
A chemical UV filter helps absorb sun rays but is known to clog pores and cause sensitivity in acne.
The stronger the spf the more it blocks your skin which cause more acne and worsen the acne you already had.
But if your a person who is genetically gifted by having great skins then use 40+ spf while
You can, your gifted man. I personally use 25+ since my skin is very oily and sensitive to acne.






Notes:

1. Always use sunscreen for your skin type and not just a regular spf since these regular ones aren’t meant for your specific skin type but for ones with regular skin type (people with no acne). I wint cover how to know your skin types since there are good threads here but the best way is to go to a professional to tell you.
2. Always use sunscreen mixed with a moisturizer since it can also save you some money and time and it much better for your skin, the less products the better.
3. SPF is known to fade away after 1-2 hours so take into account that if you applied it 2 hours ago and your going out again now then reapply it.
4. The fact you have spf on your face does not mean that you can still have your face directly on the sun!!! SPF does not secure 100% it just protect it better than not applying it at all.
5. NO. Sunscreen does not cause acne you fucking low iq incels. Like I said if your using a one that match your skin type then it should not cause any more acne and if it’s with a moisturizer it can even benefit your acne.
6. Try to wear a hat 24/7 since it will pro you even more from the UV.
