If you achieve hypertrophy in gym, tears form in muscles.
If you don’t eat the muscles will stay sore (this is true) for longer since no protein construction occurring
If you work out second time now:
the tears this second time will be deeper + the lower layer of muscle will attain tears as well and as a result,
When you eat now, the muscles will build greater mass on an inter layered level resulting in increased mass
